About SGR Automotive
SGR Automotive is a mobile remapping and diesel emissions business based in Eccles, Greater Manchester. We carry out ECU, DPF, EGR and AdBlue work at homes, workplaces and yards right across the North West.
Who we are
We're based at James Nasmyth Way in Eccles and work across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Huddersfield. Our sister business, 117Speed, runs from the same site and looks after dyno work.
Remaps, DPF cleans, diagnostics and deletes are all carried out from our van, so customers never have to arrange a lift or wait around at a garage.
Why every job is mobile
Most remaps and DPF jobs need a laptop, the right tools and access to the vehicle. Taking that kit to the customer saves you a trip to a garage, a lift home and a day without your car or van.
Our base is on James Nasmyth Way in Eccles, but the work itself happens out at homes, offices, yards and depots across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Huddersfield.
What we do
- ECU remapping for cars and vans, from economy maps to Stage 1 and Stage 2
- DPF cleaning, plus DPF, EGR and AdBlue deletes
- Carbon cleaning and petrol particulate filter cleaning
- Mobile diagnostics and smoke testing for boost and air leaks
- ECU repair and cloning, including work on the Ford SID212 ECU
What you can expect from us
£2 million insurance
We're insured to £2 million for the work we carry out at your home or business.
An hour or two of your day
Most services take 60 to 90 minutes, so you can plan around the visit instead of losing a whole day.
A clean scan at the end
Once the work is done, we read the ECU again and clear any warning lights before packing up.
Ford van know-how
We also work on the locked SID212 ECU fitted to many 2018-on Ford Transit, Transit Custom and Ranger models. That ECU is removed and unlocked off site with our sister business 117Speed, then refitted, with a 7-day turnaround.
Trade customers and fleets
Alongside private customers, we work for garages, car dealers and businesses that run vans. Trade accounts and a partner programme are open to firms that send us regular work or refer customers our way.

Where are you based?
Our base is HNA Facilities, Plot Zero, James Nasmyth Way, Eccles, Manchester M30 0SF. We're fully mobile, so we travel to you instead of asking you to bring the vehicle to us.
Can you do dyno remapping?
We don't run a dyno ourselves, as every SGR job is mobile. If you want a remap set up and tested on a rolling road, we'll put you in touch with our sister business, 117Speed.
Do you only work on diesels?
No. We remap petrol and diesel cars and vans, and we clean the petrol particulate filters fitted to many newer petrol models. DPF, EGR and AdBlue work applies to diesels.
Which areas do you travel to?
Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire, plus Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. Our areas page lists the towns we visit most often.
