Cars
Most modern petrol and diesel cars can be remapped, and diesels are where DPF, EGR and AdBlue faults tend to show up. What a remap gains depends on the engine, so we'll tell you what's realistic for yours before you book.

Vans and pickups
A lot of our work is on vans, for sole traders and fleets alike. We work on the Ford Transit, Transit Custom and Ranger, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Transporter, Crafter and Caddy, Vauxhall Vivaro, and vans from Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Nissan, Fiat and Toyota.
A van remap helps with towing and heavy loads, and EGR, DPF and AdBlue faults are common on high-mileage commercials.

Ford SID212 ECU work
Many Transit, Transit Custom and Ranger models use the SID212 ECU, which needs specialist access before it can be remapped or have a delete written to it. That work is done off site: we remove the ECU, ship it to be unlocked and programmed, and refit it in 7 days for £1,200 + VAT. Older Fords without it get the usual mobile service.

Can every car be remapped?
Most modern cars with an electronically controlled engine can, but a few can't or gain very little. We check your exact engine and ECU before taking a booking.
Do you remap automatic cars?
Yes. On many automatic and DSG models we can also remap the gearbox for quicker shifts, which costs £195 + VAT on its own.
Will a remap help my van when it's towing?
Yes. A Stage 1 van remap adds torque lower in the rev range, which is where a van needs it when towing or fully loaded.
