Nissan AdBlue problems and delete

An AdBlue fault on a Navara or X-Trail can bring a warning, a countdown and eventually a no-start. We read the codes where the vehicle is parked, and we can delete the AdBlue system for £330 + VAT.

AdBlue faults on a Nissan

The system relies on a pump, a heated tank, NOx sensors and an injector, and any of them can fail. Crystallised fluid can block the injector as well, and a reset only clears the warning until the ECU sees the fault again.

We find the failed part first. A dealer or SCR specialist can then replace it, as we don't repair AdBlue systems.

Can you delete AdBlue on a Nissan?

Yes, on AdBlue-equipped Nissans used off-road or exported, the Navara included. Our AdBlue delete legal guide explains why road vehicles are excluded.

Do you repair Nissan AdBlue systems?

No. We diagnose the fault, so a dealer knows which part to replace, or we delete the system.

What does the AdBlue warning mean on a Nissan?

It may be a low or contaminated tank, or a failed component. If fresh fluid doesn't clear it, the codes need reading before any countdown runs out. Our AdBlue heater and tank guide covers one common cause.
