Renault AdBlue problems and delete
A Renault van or car can show an AdBlue light, a countdown or an anti-pollution fault when the system develops a problem. We read the codes at your yard, home or workplace, and the AdBlue delete is £330 + VAT.

AdBlue faults on a Renault
Renault, like Peugeot and Citroen, often shows "anti-pollution fault" or "emission system fault" in place of an AdBlue light. That message can come from any emissions part, so it needs a code read before anything is replaced. Our anti-pollution fault guide explains the possibilities.
When AdBlue is to blame, it's usually the pump, the heater or tank, a NOx sensor or crystallised fluid. A reset only clears the warning until the ECU spots the fault again.

Can you delete AdBlue on a Renault?
Yes, on AdBlue-equipped Renault vans and cars used off-road or exported. Our AdBlue delete law guide explains why it can't be done on a road vehicle.
Do you repair Renault AdBlue systems?
No. We diagnose the fault so a dealer or SCR specialist can fix it, or we carry out the delete.
What does the AdBlue warning mean on a Renault?
It can be a low or poor-quality tank, or a failed part. If a top-up doesn't clear it, or a countdown appears, have the codes read before the van stops restarting.
