Remapping for Mercedes
Turbocharged Mercedes engines leave room in the factory software for a better-tuned map. We read the ECU, save the original file and write a map that suits how the vehicle is used.
For an A35 or C43 that usually means Stage 1 for sharper response. A diesel C Class or E Class on high mileage may be better off with an economy map, and a Vito working hard all week benefits from extra low-down torque.
What a remap changes
- More torque low in the rev range, useful with a loaded van or a trailer
- Easier overtaking on A roads and motorways
- A gearbox map can quicken the shifts if your Mercedes is an automatic
- Speed limiter removal for vans and cars that have one set
- An economy map aimed at mpg for diesels covering high mileage

Can you quote for my Mercedes from the registration?
Yes. From the registration we can see the engine and ECU fitted, which lets us confirm the price and the maps on offer before anyone visits.
Can a remapped Mercedes go back to standard?
We keep a copy of the original Mercedes software on file, so the car or van can be returned to its factory map if needed. Returning it to standard is charged separately, so ask us for the price.
Do you remap Mercedes vans and 4x4s?
Yes. We map the Vito and Sprinter at depots and on site, and a van remap is £275 + VAT. SUVs are mapped in the same way as the cars.
