Range Rover Evoque remapping
An Evoque remap is £275 + VAT for Stage 1, Stage 2 or economy, and the automatic gearbox can be mapped for £195 + VAT more. Book both together and it's £440 + VAT. We quote from the registration, so the price is agreed before the visit.

What remapping changes on the Evoque
Land Rover's software is set up to work in any market, with allowances for fuel quality and extreme temperatures. A remap resets the boost, fuelling and timing for how you use the car, so an Evoque feels less laboured when it's carrying passengers, pulling a trailer or climbing out of a junction.
On a diesel used for long trips, an economy map can be the better choice. We'll ask about your usual journeys before recommending one.
Is it worth it on an Evoque?
If your Evoque runs a turbo engine, a remap is good value at £275 + VAT, because turbocharged engines have the most to gain. We'll check yours from the registration.
Stage 2 earns its keep only when the supporting parts are already on. Without them, start at Stage 1.
Insurance and warranty

Is Stage 2 an option on the Evoque?

Is the engine and gearbox package worth it on an Evoque?
At £440 + VAT it's £30 cheaper than two separate maps. The gearbox software is matched to the new engine map, so it copes with the extra torque and changes gear at sensible points.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a remapped Evoque?
Yes, because a remap is a declared modification for insurance. Leaving it out risks a claim being refused.
Will a remap affect my Evoque's warranty?
It could. Land Rover can turn down warranty claims on a remapped engine or gearbox, so if your Evoque is still covered, check with the dealer first.
