VW AdBlue problems and delete
An AdBlue warning on a Volkswagen that comes back after a reset, or stays on after filling, means the ECU has stored a fault. We read it at your home, yard or workplace, and we can delete the AdBlue system for £330 + VAT.

AdBlue on a Volkswagen
The SCR system on an AdBlue-equipped VW has a pump, a heated tank, NOx sensors and a dosing injector. When one of them fails, or the fluid crystallises, the warning appears and a countdown to no restart can follow.
A reset clears the light for a while, but the fault returns if a part has failed. We find the cause, and a dealer or SCR specialist can then replace that part, since we don't repair AdBlue systems.

Can you delete AdBlue on a VW?
Yes, on AdBlue-equipped VW vans and cars used off-road or exported. A delete on a road vehicle isn't legal, as our AdBlue delete guide explains.
Do you repair VW AdBlue systems?
We don't. Our job is finding the fault so the dealer knows which part to replace, and carrying out the delete if you choose it.
What does the AdBlue warning mean on a VW?
Sometimes just a low or contaminated tank, sometimes a failed pump, heater or sensor. If it's still on after filling, a fault is stored, and our AdBlue warning light guide explains the next steps.
