About the Astra EGR delete
EGR valves clog when soot from the exhaust mixes with oil vapour and bakes on, whether your Astra is a 1.3, 1.7 or 1.9 CDTi. A sticking valve causes a lumpy idle, flat spots and sometimes limp mode.
The delete switches the EGR off in the software and clears its codes. We don't clean EGR valves, so if you'd rather keep the EGR working, a garage can fit a new valve.

All we need is the Astra and its keys, parked somewhere safe for an hour or so.

Can you look at a second car on the same visit?
Usually, yes, if you tell us when booking. We work on cars and vans of most makes, so a second vehicle with a DPF or EGR problem can often be seen in the same trip.
