What an EGR delete changes on the Corsa
A sticking EGR valve on a Corsa, including the 1.3 CDTi, can cause a rough idle, hesitation and limp mode. The delete switches the system off in the ECU so the valve stays closed, and its fault codes are cleared.
The work is carried out through the diagnostic port, so nothing has to be stripped down, and most visits take 60 to 90 minutes.
Is it worth it on a Corsa?
On a Corsa C or Corsa D, the delete avoids buying a valve that could clog again. If you'd rather keep the EGR working, a new valve is the fix, and our diagnostic check makes sure it's the right part before you order one.

Can the EGR and DPF be deleted together on a Corsa?
Yes, if the car has a DPF, both can be done on the same visit. The DPF delete costs £220 + VAT on top of the EGR delete.
Will a new valve clog again?
It can over time, because soot and oil vapour keep passing through it. Fixing any breather or injector problem that adds to the build-up gives a new valve a better chance.
