Vauxhall Zafira EGR problems and delete
Yes, we look at Zafira EGR faults at your home or workplace, diagnosing the valve before recommending anything. The EGR delete, once we know that is the fault, is £220 + VAT.
What we can do on the Zafira
Diagnostics for £100 + VAT
Reading the codes and live EGR data shows whether the valve has stuck or another part is to blame.
EGR delete for £220 + VAT
The EGR is disabled in the ECU and its codes are cleared.
New valve
If you'd rather keep the EGR working, a garage can fit a replacement valve. We don't clean EGR valves.
Zafira versions we work on
We work on Zafiras including the 1.7 CDTi, and the car is sometimes badged as an Opel Zafira if it's an import. If yours is a 1.6 petrol, mention it when you book.
Engines and ECUs vary, so send the registration and we'll confirm what's possible on your car.
How it works

We come out
Your driveway, the street or a work car park.
Diagnosis, then the delete
Once the EGR is confirmed as the cause, it's switched off in the software.
Checks and handover
Codes are read again with the engine running, and we explain what's been done.

Can you delete the EGR on a Zafira?
Yes, if it's used off-road or going for export. A delete on a road car is illegal, and our guide to EGR delete legality explains why.

We don't offer EGR cleaning. If you'd rather keep the EGR, a garage can fit a new valve once our check confirms it's needed.

The delete is £220 + VAT at your home or workplace, and diagnostics beforehand are £100 + VAT.
