Remapping a TT or TTS costs £275 + VAT for Stage 1, Stage 2 or economy, and automatic or DSG cars can have the gearbox mapped as well. We'll price your car from the registration, then come to you.

Before any map goes on, we read the fault codes and keep a copy of your TT's original software.
What a remap changes on the TT
The TT leaves the factory with a map designed to work anywhere in the world on any fuel. Remapping sets boost, fuel and ignition timing for UK roads and fuel, so a 2.0 TFSI or TDI pulls harder out of corners and through the middle of the rev range.
Owners of the mk1, mk2 and mk3, including the TTS, can all ask for a map. The registration tells us which software your car runs.
Is it worth it on a TT?
If your TT has a turbocharged engine, it's the type that gets the most from a remap, so the £275 + VAT is well spent. If it turns out to be a non-turbo version, we'll tell you it isn't worth doing.
Stage 2 is only worth booking once uprated parts are on the car. A standard TTS should start at Stage 1.
Insurance and warranty
Insurers treat a remap as a modification, so add it to your TT's policy. Audi can also refuse warranty claims on engine or gearbox parts once the software has changed, which matters if the car is still covered. Our guide to remaps, insurance and warranty has more.
Is Stage 2 an option on the TT?
Yes, once the supporting parts are fitted. Send us a list of what's been changed and we'll build the map around it. The Stage 2 remap page explains more.
Is the engine and gearbox package worth it on a TT?
If your TT has a DSG or automatic gearbox, the £440 + VAT package saves £30 on booking both maps separately, and the shift settings are set to match the stronger engine.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a remapped TT?
You do. Insurers class a remap as a modification, and an undeclared one could leave you without cover after a claim.
Will a remap affect my TT's warranty?
It can. Audi may decline engine or gearbox claims on a remapped TT, so check the warranty wording first if your car is still covered.
