Fiat AdBlue problems and delete
If an AdBlue warning on your Fiat comes straight back after a reset, a part of the system has almost certainly failed. A code read on site shows which part, and an AdBlue delete is £330 + VAT.
AdBlue for Fiat
Fiat, along with Peugeot, Citroen and others, often shows "anti-pollution fault" or "emission system fault" in place of an AdBlue light. That message can point to any emissions part, so a code read comes before any parts are bought.
When the AdBlue system is the cause, the pump, heater or tank, a NOx sensor or crystallised fluid is usually to blame. We don't repair AdBlue systems, so a dealer or SCR specialist needs to replace the part.
Warnings and signs
- An AdBlue warning that returns after a reset or top-up
- "Anti-pollution fault" on the display, if your Fiat shows it
- A countdown to no restart
- An engine light lit with the AdBlue warning

Reviews
How much is an AdBlue delete on a Fiat?
The delete costs £330 + VAT and is done where the van or car is parked. It switches the system off in the ECU and stops the countdown.
Is an AdBlue delete legal on a Fiat?
No, not for road use. It's only for vehicles used off-road or exported, as an AdBlue-equipped Fiat on UK roads must keep a working system. Our AdBlue legal guide explains.
Why is my Fiat's AdBlue light still on after filling?
A top-up clears a warning caused by a low tank, but not one caused by a failed part. If the light stays, a fault is stored, and our anti-pollution fault guide explains what it could be.
