How a visit for your XF works
We start with the registration
It tells us whether the XF is a 2.2 D, a 3.0 D or another version, and we confirm the £275 + VAT price.
You choose the place
We visit homes and workplaces across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Huddersfield.
The XF is mapped on the spot
We read the fault memory, save the Jaguar's original software and load the new map.
Wrap-up
The fault memory is checked again and we tell you what's changed.
About the XF remap
On the 2.2 D and 3.0 V6 diesel, a remap adds torque where the XF does most of its work, so the car gathers speed more easily on motorways and A roads. If you'd rather cut fuel costs on a long commute, an economy map costs the same £275 + VAT.
If your XF has an automatic gearbox, a gearbox remap for £195 + VAT lets the shifts keep up with the new engine map. Together they're £440 + VAT.
At home or at work
For a home visit, the XF can sit on the driveway or be parked safely on the street. A workplace slot works just as well if the car sits in a staff car park all day and you've checked we're allowed on site.
Have the keys ready when we arrive and again at the end. Between those points, you're free to get on with your day.
