What a remap changes on the Mazda 3
A remap adjusts boost, fuelling and timing so the engine pulls harder through the mid-range, and that suits a Mazda 3 MPS or 2.2 D well. The 2.2 D can also be set up for economy instead.

Is it worth it on a Mazda 3?
Turbo petrol and turbo diesel engines respond best to mapping, and they're where the £275 + VAT goes furthest. If your Mazda 3 has a non-turbo petrol engine, the gain is small for the money, and we'll say so before you book.
Insurance and warranty
