Can you quote for my Mini from the registration?
Yes. We can look up the engine and ECU from the registration, then confirm a price and which maps suit the car before we book you in.
Can a remapped Mini go back to standard?
Yes. Your Mini's original software is saved before the new map goes on, so the factory settings can be put back later. A charge applies for returning it to standard, which we'll confirm when you ask.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a remapped Mini?
You do, as a remap is a modification in the insurer's eyes. Not declaring it could cause problems if you ever claim, so call them before or soon after the work.
