Peugeot 308 remapping
A 308 GTi owner usually wants sharper response, while someone with a 1.6 HDi or 2.0 HDi is more likely chasing mpg. We map both at your home or workplace, and we read the fault codes before anything is written.

What a remap changes on a 308
Peugeot's standard software allows for poor fuel and harsh climates, which leaves performance on the table in the UK. Remapping adjusts the boost, fuel and timing settings so a 308 pulls more cleanly through the middle of the rev range.
On a diesel, the same settings can be tuned for economy, so the car is more relaxed at a steady motorway speed.
Work worth pairing with a 308 remap
- Pops and bangs. On a 308 GTi, pops and bangs can be added, priced per car.
- Gearbox map. If your 308 has an automatic gearbox, a gearbox map is £195 + VAT, or £440 + VAT with the engine.
- Carbon clean. An HDi used on short trips may have a carbon build-up, which a £125 + VAT carbon clean clears before Stage 1.
What we do about it
Your 308 gets a fault code read, a backup of the original software and then its new map, all where it's parked. A Stage 1, Stage 2 or economy map is £275 + VAT, and most visits are finished in 60 to 90 minutes.

Will I notice the difference after a 308 remap?
Straight away, mostly when accelerating from 30 to 60 or joining a dual carriageway. A GTi feels more urgent, and a diesel needs fewer downshifts.
Can a remap improve my 308's mpg?
On an HDi doing longer journeys, an economy map often helps. It depends on the roads and your habits, so we won't put a figure on it.
Should faults be fixed before the 308 is remapped?
Yes. Any stored fault, from a sensor to a blocked DPF, needs sorting first, or the map can't do its job properly.
Can a remap cause problems on a 308?
Not when the engine's healthy and the map is right for it. We read codes before and after, and your original Peugeot file is kept safe.
