Peugeot Partner AdBlue problems and delete
For a Partner with an AdBlue fault there are two routes, a dealer or SCR specialist repair, or our £330 + VAT AdBlue delete. A £100 + VAT diagnostic check tells you which part has failed before you choose. We quote from the registration and carry out the work at your yard or home.
Your options for the Partner
| AdBlue delete | Dealer or SCR specialist repair | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | £330 + VAT | Dealer quote; not a service we offer |
| Where | Your yard, depot, site or driveway | The dealer's or specialist's workshop |
Diagnostics at £100 + VAT come before either option, because a Partner's warning on its own doesn't say which part has gone.
What an AdBlue delete changes on the Partner
The delete stops the ECU dosing AdBlue and stops it checking the SCR system, so a failed part no longer triggers warnings or the countdown. Stored AdBlue codes are cleared at the same visit, and the van no longer uses AdBlue.
If the light on your Partner is still on after filling, or it shows "anti-pollution fault" or "AdBlue emissions fault", that's the kind of warning the delete removes. Peugeot often uses those messages where other makes would show an AdBlue light.
Is it worth it on a Partner?
At £330 + VAT against the cost of new SCR parts, the delete is usually the cheaper fix. Peugeot and Citroen BlueHDi vans are known for AdBlue tank and heater faults, and a replacement tank is rarely a small bill.
If you choose a dealer repair, our diagnostics mean you go to them knowing which part to ask for.
AdBlue delete or a dealer repair for the Partner?
It comes down to how the van is used and what the failed part would cost to replace, which our diagnostics show.
Is a Partner AdBlue delete legal?
Not on a van used on UK roads. The delete is legal for off-road and export use only, which is the only way we sell it. Our guide to whether an AdBlue delete is legal has the detail.
What does the £330 + VAT cover for a Partner?
The visit, a code read, the AdBlue system switched off in the ECU, and the SCR fault codes cleared. Before we go, we start the van and check the dash with you.
Will the delete stop the Partner's countdown?
It will. With the system switched off in the software, the no-restart countdown and the AdBlue warning both go, even if the van was close to zero.
