Toyota EGR problems and delete
An EGR system malfunction on a diesel Toyota usually comes with a lumpy idle, flat spots or a drop in power. We diagnose the fault where the vehicle is parked, and carry out the EGR delete for £220 + VAT.
EGR delete for Toyota
The EGR valve recirculates some exhaust into the intake to lower NOx. Over time the soot in that gas combines with oil vapour, coats the valve and stops it moving cleanly, and the engine starts to run badly.
We don't clean EGR valves. If you'd rather keep the EGR working, a garage can fit a replacement valve.

Reviews
What are the signs of a failing EGR on a Toyota?
Lumpy idling, hesitation, black smoke and an engine light are the usual signs, often with a code such as P0403. Our EGR symptoms guide explains each one.
Is an EGR delete legal on a Toyota used on the road?
No. It's for off-road and export use only, because disabling the EGR on a road vehicle breaks the emissions rules and can fail the MOT. Read our EGR delete legal guide for more.
Can you delete the DPF and EGR on a Toyota at the same time?
Yes. Both can be done on one visit, at £220 + VAT each.
