Can you remap a Transit or Ranger with the SID212 ECU?
We can, though not on site. On 2018-on models with this ECU, we remove it, send it off to be unlocked and programmed and refit it within 7 days for £1,200 + VAT. Older vans without the SID212 are mapped on site for £275 + VAT. Our Ford SID212 guide has the background.
What happens if the fault check finds a problem?
We'll tell you what the codes show and stop there. Book a diagnostic check for £100 + VAT to trace the fault, then the remap can go ahead once it's sorted.
