Can you clean the DPF on my A4?
Usually, yes. Cracked filters and those full of ash can't be cleaned, and we'll tell you from the readings before any work starts.
How long does an A4 DPF clean take?
Most take between 60 and 90 minutes. If the filter is very full, the regeneration may need a bit longer.
What does an A4 DPF clean cost?
The clean is £275 + VAT. A delete costs £220 + VAT but is only for off-road and export cars, because a DPF delete on a road car is illegal, as our DPF removal guide explains.
Does the A4's DPF have to come off?
No. The filter is cleaned in place, which saves on labour and keeps the car usable.
