3 Series versions we work on
We clean filters on diesel 3 Series cars, including the 320d and 330d, and on E90 and F30 models. BMW's N47 diesel is fitted to many BMW and MINI models and is a common EGR delete candidate, and a sticking EGR valve can load the DPF with extra soot.

Can you clean the DPF on my 3 Series?
On most 320d and 330d cars, yes. We'll only go ahead once the readings show the filter is blocked with soot rather than ash or damaged.
How long does a 3 Series DPF clean take?
Plan on 60 to 90 minutes. If the filter is heavily loaded, the regeneration can run a little longer, and we'll tell you at the start.
What does a 3 Series DPF clean cost?
The clean costs £275 + VAT and the price includes the forced regeneration. A delete is £220 + VAT but only for cars used off-road or going for export, as our DPF removal guide explains.
Does the DPF have to come off the 3 Series?
No. The filter is cleaned where it sits, so the car is usable again as soon as we've finished.
