VW Transporter DPF problems and cleaning
We clean Transporter DPFs at the yard, the depot or outside your house, so the van stays close to its next job. Most cleans are done in 60 to 90 minutes, and a DPF light can often be seen to the same day.
How a visit for your Transporter works
Send the registration
Tell us whether it's a T5 or T6, what the dash shows and where the van will be. The clean is £275 + VAT.
Agree a slot
We'll fit around the van's working day, including first thing before it heads out.
Readings and the clean
The codes and soot figures are checked to make sure cleaning will work, then the solution goes in and a forced regeneration burns the soot out.
Back to work
We clear the codes, check the readings again and hand the van back with a note of anything that needs watching.
About the Transporter DPF clean
Vans that idle on site and stop and start all day are hard on DPFs, and plenty of Transporters live that kind of life. The clean softens the packed soot and burns it away with the filter still fitted, which is far cheaper than a new DPF.
Ash and cracks are the two things a clean can't fix, and the readings tell us before we begin. If the filter can't be saved, we can delete the DPF for £220 + VAT.
Transporter vans and fleets
If you run more than one Transporter, we can visit the yard or depot and work through several vans on one trip where time allows. That keeps the vans on site and saves booking separate visits.
Businesses with regular DPF, EGR or AdBlue work can open a trade account, and we cover other vans in the fleet as well, from Transits to Sprinters.

A van off the road costs money, so the aim is to get it cleaned and back out quickly. Most visits take 60 to 90 minutes, same-day help is often available once a warning light appears, and our £2 million insurance covers the work wherever the van is parked.

Can you clean my Transporter's DPF at our yard?
Yes, the yard is often the easiest place. We just need the van parked where the engine can run safely and the exhaust can vent into open air.
Do I need to be there?
Someone needs to hand over the keys and be around when we finish. You don't have to stay with the van while the clean runs.
Can you check what blocked the Transporter's DPF while you're there?
We look at the codes and live data during the visit, which often shows the cause, such as a sensor fault or a sticking EGR valve. If more digging is needed, diagnostics cost £100 + VAT.
How do I stop the Transporter's DPF blocking again?
Mix in a longer run at steady speed when you can, and avoid switching off while a regeneration is running. Fixing any EGR or injector fault we find also stops the filter filling early.
Is a Transporter DPF delete allowed on the road?
No, it's not allowed on road vans, so we only delete the DPF on Transporters used off-road or going for export. Our DPF removal guide explains why.
