The technician reads the fault codes, saves your original software and writes the new map through the diagnostic port.

About the Fiesta remap
A Stage 1 map adjusts the engine's settings so a standard Fiesta pulls more strongly and needs fewer gear changes on hills and slip roads. If your Fiesta is a diesel covering plenty of miles, an economy map set up for mpg may suit it better.
Fiesta ST owners, including those with a Fiesta ST mk7, can also book a Stage 2 map once supporting parts are fitted, or add pops and bangs, which is priced per car.
At home or at work
The job needs the car, its keys and somewhere it can sit for an hour or so with the engine off. Any of these places works for a visit.

- In a works car park, once you've checked with whoever manages it that a technician can work there
- At a friend's or family member's house, if that's where the car will be on the day

Yes, as long as the car can be parked somewhere safe for the visit and your workplace is happy for us to be there. A lunch-break slot often works well.

No. The registration tells us enough to confirm whether your Fiesta can be mapped and what it costs, so you'll have the price before we arrive.
What do I need to have ready?
The car and its keys, plus somewhere it can stay put for 60 to 90 minutes. If you've fitted any performance parts, tell us when you book.
Can the Fiesta go back to standard?
Yes. We save your Fiesta's original software before writing the new map, so it can be returned to standard later. There's a separate charge for putting it back to standard, and we'll quote it on request.
