DPF cleaning for Honda
The filter traps soot and clears it by burning it off, but only when the exhaust gets hot enough for long enough. A diet of short journeys, a pressure sensor giving false readings, EGR or injector faults and oil in the exhaust all leave soot behind.
We read the codes and filter figures first, then clean with a solution and a forced regeneration. If something else caused the blockage, you'll hear about it before we leave, so it doesn't happen again straight away.

Can you clean the DPF on any Honda diesel?
