Hyundai DPF problems and cleaning
A DPF warning light on a diesel Hyundai means soot is building in the filter faster than the car can burn it off. We clean Hyundai DPFs at your home or workplace for £275 + VAT, with no need to take the filter off.
DPF cleaning for Hyundai
Each regeneration needs the exhaust to reach a high temperature and stay there for a while. Short journeys, a misreading pressure sensor, EGR or injector faults and oil in the exhaust all stop that happening.
We check the codes and readings before cleaning, then use a cleaning solution and a forced regeneration. If something else caused the blockage, you'll know about it before we leave.

Reviews
Why do DPFs block on diesel Hyundai models?
Mostly because regenerations keep getting interrupted by short trips. Sensor, EGR and injector faults add soot on top. Our blocked DPF guide covers each cause.
Can you delete the DPF on a Hyundai?
On a car used off-road or exported, yes, for £220 + VAT. A road-going Hyundai needs its filter to pass the MOT, and our DPF removal guide explains the law.
Can you clean a Hyundai's DPF at my workplace?
Yes. All we need is somewhere safe to run the engine through a regeneration, and most jobs take 60 to 90 minutes.
