About the Sportage remap
A diesel Sportage carrying a family and luggage benefits most from a Stage 1 map, which brings more pull for overtakes and towing. If the car racks up long motorway miles, an economy map can be written instead.
If your Sportage has an automatic gearbox, a gearbox map can go on for £195 + VAT, or £440 + VAT together with the engine.
At home or at work
The visit needs your Sportage, its keys and a flat, safe place to park for around an hour. A quiet road outside your house is fine, and so is a works car park once you've checked it's allowed.
Nobody has to watch over the job. Hand us the keys when we arrive and be back for the five-minute run-through at the end.
