About the Partner DPF clean
Small vans on local delivery rounds and trade work spend a lot of time on short hops, and vans that stop and start all day are hard on DPFs. Soot builds up faster than the filter can burn it, and eventually the particulate filter warning comes on.
A clean clears the soot without replacing the filter. It can't fix a cracked filter or one that's full of ash, and we'll tell you if that's the case. We can also delete the DPF for £220 + VAT.

Can you clean my Partner's DPF at our yard?
Yes. Park the van somewhere it can idle safely with the exhaust pointing into open air, and we'll do the rest.
Do I need to be there for the Partner clean?
Only to hand over the keys and to hear what we found at the end. Plenty of customers carry on loading other vans while we work.
Can you check what blocked the Partner's filter?
Usually, yes. The readings during the visit can point to a faulty sensor, an EGR problem or simply too many short runs, and full diagnostics are available for £100 + VAT.
How do I stop the Partner's DPF blocking again?
Fit in a longer run at a steady speed now and then, and don't cut the engine mid-regeneration. If we find an EGR or injector fault, getting that sorted helps as well.
Can a Partner van with the DPF deleted stay on the road?
No. We only delete the DPF on Partners used off-road or going for export, as covered in our DPF removal guide.
