About the Vivaro EGR delete
A van that idles on site and stops and starts all day is hard on its EGR valve. Soot in the recirculated gas mixes with oil vapour and builds up until the valve sticks, bringing on a rough idle, smoke or limp mode.
The delete turns the EGR off in the ECU and clears the codes. We don't clean EGR valves.

What do you check on the Vivaro before the delete?
We read the stored codes and the live EGR readings, so we're certain the valve is the problem. If it's a sensor or wiring fault, we'll say so.
