BMW EGR problems and delete
Many BMW and MINI models use the N47 diesel, a common candidate for an EGR delete. We read EGR faults where your BMW is parked and carry out the EGR delete for £220 + VAT.

EGR delete for BMW
Soot in the recirculated exhaust mixes with oil vapour and gradually coats the EGR valve, until it sticks and the ECU logs a fault. If your BMW is losing coolant or puffing white smoke, the EGR cooler may be leaking instead, and that needs a garage.
Problems with the EGR pressure converter can produce similar symptoms, which is why we read the codes and live data before recommending anything. We don't clean EGR valves, so the alternative to a delete is a new valve fitted by a garage.

Send the registration and what the car is doing, such as smoke, hesitation or limp mode.
We diagnose on site
Codes and live data show whether it's the valve, the cooler or something else.
Agree the fix
A new valve from a garage, or the delete carried out that day.
Can you delete the EGR on a BMW?
Yes, on most diesel BMWs, for off-road and export use only. Read our guide on whether an EGR delete is legal before booking.
Do you clean BMW EGR valves?
No. EGR cleaning isn't a service we offer. We diagnose the fault and either refer the car to a garage for a replacement valve or delete the EGR.
How much is an EGR delete on a BMW?
It's £220 + VAT, done at your home or workplace. For comparison, our EGR valve replacement cost guide covers what a new valve involves.
