What causes AdBlue faults on a Q7
On a diesel Q7 with AdBlue, the usual causes are a weak pump, a failed tank heater, a faulty NOx sensor or crystals in the injector. Our AdBlue warning light guide covers each one.
An AdBlue warning on a Q7 points to a fault in the SCR system, and left alone it can lead to a countdown and a car that won't restart. We read the fault at your home or work, and AdBlue can be deleted for £330 + VAT.
On a diesel Q7 with AdBlue, the usual causes are a weak pump, a failed tank heater, a faulty NOx sensor or crystals in the injector. Our AdBlue warning light guide covers each one.
Diagnostics are £100 + VAT, done where the Q7 is parked. We don't repair AdBlue systems, so a Q7 that needs a repair goes to a dealer or SCR specialist for the part.
The £330 + VAT delete switches AdBlue off and ends the countdown.
Either the tank is low or a part has failed. If a top-up doesn't clear it, the Q7 needs a code read.
Once you switch off, the Q7 won't restart, so stop somewhere safe for us to reach.
Filling only fixes a low level. A light that stays on means a stored fault elsewhere.
Only the codes and live data will say, and we read both on site.
No. We only delete AdBlue on Q7s kept off-road or going for export, and our guide to whether an AdBlue delete is legal explains why.
Send the registration and the warning, and we'll book a visit. More Audi models are listed on the Audi AdBlue page.
