If your Land Rover or Range Rover is showing an "exhaust filter full" warning, the DPF has more soot in it than it can burn off on its own. We clean it where the vehicle is parked for £275 + VAT, with the filter left fitted.

DPF cleaning for Land Rover

A diesel Land Rover clears its filter through regenerations, which need the exhaust hot for a sustained spell. Short runs, towing at low speed, sensor faults, EGR trouble and oil in the exhaust can all stop them completing.

Our clean uses a solution and a forced regeneration to burn the deposits out. We read the readings and codes first, so you aren't paying for a clean on a filter that's cracked or packed with ash.

Why do DPFs block on diesel Land Rover models?

Regenerations need heat and time, and short journeys or slow towing don't give them either. Faulty pressure sensors, EGR problems and injector faults add to the soot. Read more in our blocked DPF guide.

Can you delete the DPF on a Land Rover?

We can. It costs £220 + VAT and is only for off-road and export use. A road-registered Land Rover must keep a working filter to pass its MOT, which our DPF removal guide covers.

Can you clean it at my workplace?

Yes. All we need is a safe spot to run the engine during the forced regeneration, and most cleans take 60 to 90 minutes.
