Mitsubishi DPF problems and cleaning
A flashing DPF light on an L200 or other diesel Mitsubishi means the filter is heavily loaded and limp mode isn't far off. We clean Mitsubishi DPFs at your home, yard or site for £275 + VAT, leaving the filter in place.
DPF cleaning for Mitsubishi
Pickups that idle on site and stop and start all day are hard on DPFs, as the exhaust rarely stays hot for long enough to finish a regeneration. Faulty sensors, a sticking EGR and injector problems make the build-up worse.
We check the codes and readings first. Then a cleaning solution goes in, and a forced regeneration burns the soot out without the filter coming off.

Why do DPFs block on diesel Mitsubishi models?
Regenerations need heat and time, and work pickups on short runs or idling on site don't get much of either. Sensor, EGR and injector faults add extra soot. Our blocked DPF guide explains more.
Can you delete the DPF on a Mitsubishi?
For £220 + VAT, on a pickup or car used off-road or exported. It's not legal on the road and would fail the MOT, which our DPF removal guide explains.
Do you work on Mitsubishi pickups?
Yes. We clean L200 filters at farms, yards and depots, and businesses with several pickups can open a trade account.
