About the Transit remap
A Transit remap reworks the engine software so the van makes more torque at low revs, which is where a loaded panel van or tipper spends most of its time. On a 2.2 TDCi, it usually means fewer gear changes on hills and less strain when pulling away heavy. An economy-focused map is also available for £275 + VAT.
Speed limiter removal is another common job on Transits, and it's priced per van.
Transit vans and fleets
A Transit is usually a working van, so we fit visits round the working day at your yard or depot. If you run several, we can usually map a few in one trip, one after another.

Why book SGR

Can the Transit go back to standard?
Yes. We keep the original software from every van we map, so a Transit can be returned to standard before it's sold or handed back. Putting the original back is a separate job with its own charge.
